On July 23, 1855, John C. Rogers was granted administration of Mary Cornwall Booth's estate and surity of $500 was posted by William M. West. He then married her daughter, Mary E. Booth on August 22, 1859. He returned warrant 155002. Mary Presson Cornwall Booth died July 2nd, 1855. Mary Booth was placed on the Richmond, Va pension rolls at $40 per annum. Certificate # 4456. Bounty land warrant28655 for 160 acres was issued on 6-2-1856 and returned due to death. Duplicate certificate issued 9/24/1859
