Quote Daisy Leigh Clements Goodrich "Aunt Edith started teaching September1921
after graduating from high school in 1921. She taught in Chesterfield County
in 1922. Starting in 1923, she taught in Hanover County for 27 years. She
says Route #10 was built in the Winter of 1921, Grandma Avery was the
survivor of twins, whose mother died when sehe and twin were born. Her
oldest sister took care of them and she lived in Waverly. We think the
sisters name was Ellen.
