It is likely that the migration of the fam ily to Laceyville, Wyoming Co, PA took place in early 1857. Mrs. Moyers d id not long survive the change. She died July 25, 1859 and was buri ed in the Lacey Street Cemetery. The widowed husband soon consoled himse lf bu marrying a young lady thirty years his junior. Her name was JANE BI RD, a daughter of John Bird (1756-1839) who served in the Revolution. T he second marriage of Jacob Moyers resulted in at least six children.
