Hello Cousins,
I have just been able to come upon an old copy of one of the original Booth Bibles from Surry County, Va.,
and have made copies of the pages. These pages add quite a bit of information to the Beverly Booth,
son of Robert Booth, Line of Surry County, including children of Beverly Booth that were previously unknown.
It also adds numerous dates, whereas before, we only had circa....
The pages have been photographed in jpg and bmp format for those that would like a copy. There are about
28 pages.
I have included a short summary of some of them below:
Children of Beverly Booth that have never been listed
Confirmation that Beverly Booth is the son of Robert and Sarah Booth
Children of the children of Beverly Booth
Anyone that wants copies of the original pages from the bible sent to them, please contact me directly so that
we don't tie up the server sending them.
Since these pages are somewhat old and difficult to read, there is also a jpg/bmp copy of the transcript of
these pages available.
JUST A NOTE, THERE ARE SOME CASES OF HOW A CHILD DIED, BUT THEY ARE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO READ AND I HAVEN'T
GOTTEN ALL OF THAT DONE YET. PLEASE BE PATIENT.
THIS IS BEVERLY BOOTH'S BIBLE AS HE REFERS TO MY WIFE AND MY SON ROBERT AND OTHERS THROUGHOUT. THIS IS ALSO
COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE BIBLE THAT PERMILIA BOOTH HAD.
